Carlton Rose is a poet from Wolverhampton who lives in Manchester. His work has appeared in The Poetry Review, Magma, Ambit, Under the Radar and various other publications.

In 2024, Carlton was commissioned by Whitworth Art Gallery and Manchester Poetry Library to respond to the first major survey exhibition of poet and artist John Lyons.

Carlton has recently completed his debut poetry pamphlet which explores fatherhood, teaching, physics, religion and climate change.
